I just realized i have been lurking about on here for quite a while, but i seem to have skipped this step.
relatively new rider, on the road at least,. I grew up riding offroad a long time ago, then gave up when my parents stopped paying, which is understandable when you are 18 or so.
couple years ago decided on a whim to get my learners, then did nothing for another year before i got my first road bike (Ninja 250), rode that for a year or so after getting my R, Full licence at the beginning of this year and purchased a 2013 xt660R for a trip around the south island.
Bloody good fun, so i don't think i will be without a bike again.
In Hamilton and always keen for a ride on weekends, or after work.
I recognize a few names on here, from another bike website of the pedaling variety. and one or two others who i think I know, purely by co-incidence! so hoping to meet a few of you one day.
