    Hi

No I don't work for ACC or NZTA.

Thought I'd register after lurking for a while. I've been riding for many years and currently have a 1998 R1. I usually do occasional Sunday afternoon rides, but these have become Sunday morning during the summer and might stay that way to avoid the afternoon traffic into Auckland. I've started doing longer trips on the R1 in the last year - it has a set of Tourin bars and has proved surprisingly comfortable.

Not involved in racing but go to Paeroa most years and follow MotoGP.

    I avoid Auckland. Problem solved.

After starting my first thread a week ago, I'm going back to being an occasional lurker. I can't believe what was written in some of the posts, and that the mods tolerate it.

Thanks to Rastuscat and others who contributed positively.

Meh- don't get put off. F-all is personal and there is some good shit on here.

Basically if Cassina posts on your thread it will become ten pages of his/her unwavering opinion on motorcycling riding.

I wouldn't wave at her either, especially not with the kiwibiker wave.

Meh, you'll be ok. Most of the BS spouted has made its way to pink hell (KB version of the naughty corner) so perhaps some of the weirdos with keyboard warrior tendencies are now on time-out as well.

KB is a funny place, you'll always find some good advice here...oh hang on, you'll always get a laugh here is what I meant

Ride safe, see you out and about no doubt
