    FXR150 Carb leaking fuel

Had an old 2001 FXR150 lying around that I wanted to try and get going again. Didn't seem to be getting any fuel (and it had been sitting for over a year).

Pulled the [original] carb to bits, but had trouble removing the needle valve, it was stuck hard. Ended up blowing compressed air into the the fuel inlet line and that popped the needle valve out which was all gunked up. Gave that a clean and reassembled everything but fuel is overflowing out of the carb.

Manual says in this case to clean the float chamber and float parts with gasoline. If worn replace it with a new valve seat. However it still looks like "correct". Rubber tip is pretty hard.

Parts manual page 21 says "Is needle only. No Seat! Seat is part of the Carb Endg(?)"

Suggestions? Just replace the needle (13370-47E00)? Can I not source a new seat?

Also tried pouring fuel town the fuel line with the bottom of the carb off and holding the floats up but fuel is definitely pouring past the needle valve when it should be shut off.
