Hello,
I was wondering if the suzuki RV50 can be classed as a moped. Or is it classed as a motorcycle? The engine doesn't exceed 50cc and hasnt been registered in new zealand.
Thanks.

1. It will cost more for vin, rego, registration and wof.
2. I will require indicators, mirrors and more safety features.
3. You need a motorcycle license, having a drivers license only required is more friendly to the market.
If I could make it a moped, its a steal. If it is classed as a motorcycle more $$$$$

The clue is in the name. Mo-Ped, Short for motor-pedals. Does it have a motor & pedals? If not then it's not a Moped.
it's not a powered bicycle, it's a motorbike. Get over it.
