(8) A person is not in breach of subclause (1) if the person proves that at the time of the commission of the alleged breach he or she was an adherent of the Sikh religion.

That's a surprising post given your recent bullying comments on KB.
You probably have, it is just that you have taken the view that turbans are nailed on to the head or something and cannot be replaced with a helmet when the need arises.
I'm not that narrow minded, LOL. I can't see the vid you posted, sorry but I'll assume it shows Indians racing.
I'll clarify what I posted. To my knowledge, in a NZ context, I've never seen a Sikh racing a motorcycle. Yes, some years back we had a nice young NZ born Indian come and race with Canterbury. Not a Sikh - he was clear on that. Over the years I've been to a lot of major North Island meetings too. Never seen one identifiable Sikh - and i'd expect that if one did come to race he'd bring at least one friend as support who should have worn the turban. If a Sikh has raced in NZ, good. I can't claim to have seen everyone.
I'd love to see a more ethnically diverse group racing bikes. Gradually, I think we're seeing more Maori too. At the moment in CAMS we have a surprising range of nationalities ex europe but not a lot of asians.
