    88 gpz 250r fuel tank on a 91 zxr250???

does anyone know if this will work without mods? Are they the same tank? I have a workmate who has a damaged tank on a 91 zxr250 and can't refuel. was wondering if my broken gpz's tank will bolt onto his bike??/

    any knowledgeable person know?

No... not likely. GPz has fairing wrapped around it and ZXR is a painted standalone tank sitting on top of airbox and frame. Could rangi it up to fit, but it'll look shit.

To put it bluntly, you could make it fit using a hammer, cable ties and super glue, but it would look like I did it.

    considering

considering the guy reckons he has already spend $9000 on the bike I am pretty sure that a hatchet job is not really what heis looking for. Oh well. I will toss the wreck on trademe and see if someone wants the whole bike.
