    Dirt bike bogging?

So I picked up a cheap 250cc dirt bike. It was running sweet for a few days, only rode it a few minutes.

A couple days later I started it up and it bogs with choke off, with it on it will rev but will pop and backfire.

Cleaned out jets and the carb properly. Jet was pretty dirty.

Also to note the header pipe gets hot very fast, like really hot

Yep it is a zongshen 250cc. It went like a rocket when I first rode it around my yard.

Then sat for a few days.

    Anything constructive?

I noticed yesterday that there was black oil around the exhaust manifold it looks like there is a leak? Would this cause the bogging?

you could always try soaking it in napalm and setting it on fire...
