    Stator fix

    Does anyone know someone who repairs stators, particularly for a honda NC30 ? or failing that where i can get a new one ?

    Check with your local shop. I was lucky enough that Boyds managed to find a "dead stock" stator last time I had to replace one. Cost some $200 instead of the usual arm and leg.

    Looks like the best fix is a GSXR stator rotor conversion

    Looks like its much lighter as well
    GSXR1000 K5-k7

    Pretty sure when the srad came out Suzuki made a big deal of it having rare earth magnets etc.

    Honda stuff must be real bad if Suzuki parts are the preferred fix...

    I know right I can still remember the smell of fried GSX electric from with youth
    I think its due to them being 20 years younger and more available though in this case
