The bike cranks but wont start

    Hey,
I am new here and i have just read some forums about reviews of others so i thought i might get some sort of help in my motorcycle. So i have bought i hyosung 250gtr 2011 model from turners and they told me the engine was turning on before but as i have got the delivery of the bike since i am trying to turn it on but its not starting. Thr engine kill switch works and the rev needle goes to max and min as well. Even the bike cranks but it wont start. Any luck or advice what should i check or do? I am a international student here so dont have too much money to spend for mechanic. Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers

Charge battery fully, also fill tank with fresh petrol, try again. Fresh spark plugs might help too.

Lots of the time, if the bike's been sitting, there's nothing wrong with it, it's just a mostly flat battery and stale petrol.

I went to start my cycle 6 weeks after coming back from the burt, fuel had gone off already.

You've self diagnosed your problem though, who leaves their bike parked for 6 whole weeks? The withdrawal symptoms

    Hey man,

I always check the plugs first - chances are they are gunked up with a little corrosion.

Has the thing actually got spark? If so, drain the carbs and see what happens.

They only need three things really, fuel, spark and compression. ELiminate each one and you will find the issue.
