    Motorcycling Future

well today i was highly heartened, I finally attended one of the local motocross events after being badgered to come along for quite some time.
this was a locally run event on a kind farmers paddock, there were probably somewhere in the range of 200 or so bikes from peewees right through to the big boys, one of the junior races (junior D - 70cc through to 150cc) had over 40 bikes lined up at the starting gate, was awesome

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

It's great to see high participation levels at the grass roots level of things you enjoy. A lot of sports and activities now are struggling that were thriving a decade or so ago.

There's no future if the entry level events arent well populated

That's a good post. I've been wondering how the local scene is going. I'm assuming it's out there, but it's years since I've seen anything. There used to be signs by the road pointing to one event or another but I haven't seen any in ages. Not getting the paper these days I miss any ads. Might have to make enquiries.
