    Agreed.

As Dr Smith would say from the original TV series.........

All of you are old enough to remember the original "Lost in Space". You might remember the movie from 1998 (Heather Graham, Matt LeBlanc, John Hurt looking a bit, well, hurt) which was pretty good - the opening space battle in particular. Anyway, there's been a Netflix remake.

Its pretty good. Its aimed (I think) at family viewing, there are a few plot holes (what did you expect?) and so forth but it was worthwhile. The robot is really cool.

    Here's the imdb link:

Even worse I think maybe he was an Auckland social media thing? I remember seeing and tsk tsk-ing the car surfing video over the harbour bridge though but had no idea who the surfer was (until the last couple of days).

it was William Hurt and Gary Oldman was Dr Smith (John Hurt would have been a fine replacement for the latter though). I liked that film. The new series was poorly handled overall despite some good ideas.

It's not his fault they're dead. Why does he get the credit because they aren't alive ... ???

Were the other riders at fault when they died ... ???

no it means they probably weren't better than him.

if only there was some quantifiable way to assess a rider's ability against known-to-be-effective standards...

gee do you really think so? i read on here once that training and assessment is only for at-fault people who aren't very lucky and will make them rossi wannabes because they don't pay higher acc because dog owners also don't and if you go on a group ride you'll die so buy a big suv to be safe.

are you suggesting there's another way that may have been overlooked?
