Seriously though, I looked at doing this a few years ago. Do you have a name that you are going to trade under? Are you looking at wholesaling to shops etc? How about something like "Pro Speed Imports" as a business name and "Pro Speed" as a brand name?

How about Onikuro (two words). Losely means Black Devil in Japanese.

Or I quite like Onime (again two words) - losely translated (probably less so than above) it means demon eyes, the kana for eye is quite nice looking too, a very swishy but not to complacated design

    Adrenaline??

    How bout something simple:

    Race.

Heaps of puns - the R could look good matched to the ZXR, GSXR, R1, R4 logos........

Give mid-life crisis folks something cool to talk about, gives racers something to identify with, gives squids something to aspire too.......??

    QUASIMOTOS

and i'd do something like this for a logo
    QUASIMOTO

    that's the one.

after reading the entire thread, it's the one that sticks out, and that's what a brand is about, right?

yep - and you owe Dave pants, as a brand name, ID and logo are expensive shit from someone who's a pro like heem.

I reckon the fact that they are already associated with you will make this somewhat impossible to overcome!

Quasimoto definitely stands out for me as a great brand name, bit quirky, ties in with the speed hump image of racing-type leathers. Lots of potential fun with the branding as big Dave has pointed out. Most bikers have a well-developed sense of humour (we wouldn't be riding otherwise), for example Harley-riders wear all those tassles

(and sprotsbike riders look like toothpaste tubes)

Quasimoto is the one Brett......no question. Tis a cool and unusual name, it can be associated with yourself and motorcycles all in one and i think the term Quasi is more likely to be associated with Austin Powers, as few young 'uns would know of quasimodo.
Get Big Dave onto it pronto.......

Quasi, you could run a poll. Although it seems that "Quasimoto" is a brand that works and it's got my vote. You've already run a very clever marketing excercise through this forum! Good work that man!
