    Custom exhaust work in/near Tauranga

I want to get some custom exhaust work done on my MV - specifically I want a custom link pipe from the original headers into the original exhaust (2-into-1), with a slightly re-positioned origianl exhaust location (I want the original mufflers to sit a bit higher, close to the underside of the tail). Can anyone recommend someone in or near Tauranga who can do this type of work? It needs to be aesthetically appealing because it will be on display, so the quality of welding matters.

Here's a picture for reference - the new link pipe would start just in front of the exhaust valve, which will be removed.

I've seen these guys work on a couple bikes that have made their way to my Island. Auckland based.

    I like your plan.

Can you just hack it off and stick a Coby on it

Next question; seeing how much work it was to get fueling right for the factory, how easy is it to adjust the mapping as that will likely change things somewhat.

My Triumph I could use TuneECU. I'm on map 12 billion and 14 of my quest.

I used TuneECU on my Triumph too, god I wish it was that easy on every bike. Thankfully this change likely wouldn't require any fuelling changes - removing the big box doesn't change much, most of the restriction is still in the mufflers themselves. This has been pretty widely tested amongst the MV crowd.

Have a look at House of Custom, Paeroa ..

    https://www.facebook.com/houseofcustom.newzealand/

They might not be able to do it - but they will probably know who can

Not sure where these guys are - but the 07 number must be Bay of Plenty
