    CB250 Fueling issue??

    I will outline the symptoms.
    1962 CB 250 twin carb

Bike will only run on one cylinder for about half a kilometre then cough sputter and run fantastic from then on. if you turn the motor off and restart it purrs like a kitten. If you leave the bike sit for a couple of hours the same thing will happen with it running on one cylinder for around half a kilometre.

Always the LH cylinder. Has new spark plugs and carbs have been cleaned with new o rings in the flange connections.

    Any ideas are appreciated!
    Nick

90% of carb problems are electrical......I'd be looking beyond sparkplugs. Duff Condenser or dry connection etc in the wiring. I'm assuming it is still points.
