I was watching waiting for the big arse crash.

So my question is - do cycle tyres have a speed rating?

That road has been hit hard by the yellow stripey monster.

Can't have been that quick on the bike if he was still pedalling, I wonder how oblivious nana at the front was of the traffic behind.....
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

Well for starters we don't run 11R's on anything anymore, as far as I'm aware. Most of the rubber is rated L which translates to 120 km/h and some of new size super singles are rated M which is 130 km/h. Moot point since we're limited at 90 km/h. Oh, and all clean skins by Mr Bridgestone.

Yip, it seems like it would be safe for us to all swap our leathers for summer lycras

Hate to see what a mess the road would make of his skin

Was watching a vid on EweChoob recently...

A few chaps were on rented scroters in Africaland, on a dirt road full of potholes.
These guys were doing "OK" I guess until a downhill part, where they got passed by a local chap on a pushbike.
I had to laugh when the psychlist was filmed cradling a live, large chicken in his left arm.

Awesome skills taking dinner home to the family!

Probably why I have a warehouse full of 11r's then.

My younger brother (RIP) rode in the World Masters 5 times for NZ...

He reckoned the scariest thing was descending European alps in the Peloton with 300 ex pro cyclists at warp factor 5 with these guys literally cm away and him just praying please don't let me fuck this up....

Having just graduated to semi road bikes and riding feckin miles on mountain bikes now... You get all the thrills and scares without the tickets...
