not a bad price, would prefer one over the 790 for dual purpose --------- still only ktm that really spikes my interest is an RC8 or the rc390 right now
140KG dry, a proper dual sport! (49 kg lighter than a dry 790 lololol)
ah it'd be the 2019 690 i'd want/was meaning --- (http://www.advpulse.com/adv-bikes/kt...-690-enduro-r/)
blinkered.I buy adventure bikes because they are BIG I am 6 3 or 190 cm so adventure bikes make a lot of sense for me.
100 hp is good on the road
adventure bikes are better on back roads and gravel roads which are my preference.Withthe londer travel suspension, big wheels and road oriented tyres they are preety good on the windy and bumpy roads which we call state highways
790 Enduro R $22,995 pre order from Cyclespot Euro
690 ................$15,000
Rally Raid kit....$6,500
Total outlay .....$21,500
Depending on what you really need the bike for it's worth thinking about a blinged 690, especially as you can get a 690 with demo k's for $13,500 atm
....wherezz that track go
2019 690 looks like the biz especially at that price, all you need ~ 1k for a larrrge tank if thats your thing from safari tanks, a goodn--- rally raid kit?
One of our mechanics bought a 690 for 14500 new just before xmas. Been awhile since id been near one. So light in standard trim very tempting...
Im the same as someone up above, mostly like ADV bikes for the way they handle our shitty roads, and you can park/stop anywhere and get moving again which is not case with lot of other bikes or not as easy.
To be honest we lack anything super technical in the noprth island that you can get to often enough that demands a lighter bike.
At least 90% of time is spent getting to somewhere interesting and for that part I want more power, ability to lug heavier load etc....
