Scratched new bore, what to do?

I was chamfering the ports with a file in the sun and lost concentration. Put a 5mm scratch next to the exhaust port on a 135cc 2t cylinder. I can catch a fingernail in it going directly across it but not up and down. It's about 30 off vertical. Can't feel it with the fingertips.

Carry on or get it honed or is it going to toast the rings without a rebore even?
    Insert witticism.

get it honed now as you've got it apart!

Having built and raced two strokes in the 70's, I would offer the same advice as TWR. It may not wreck your rings immediately, but you will suffer a certain amount of blow-by. Depending on the position of the scratch (and the timing of the intake port) you can end up blowing a percentage of the incoming fuel/air mix back out the intake port.

Just get them to hone it slightly, that way you might not need to buy a new piston as well.
