Nice work and great video. Remember my mate at school's father had a green maverick back in about '71 and used to ride into town every day with his briefcase strapped on the back. Petrol prices were on the rise , lot of 50's on the road back then. My father had a Yamaha 80 equivalent and I was still on the pushbike. Thanks.

A mate had an A50 that did the rounds. Got painted Matt black, by, someone called Matt.

I had an A50T built as a bucket that never made it to the track but was painted , badly, purple. Not sure what I was thinking. Wonder what happened to it? Bored it out to fit some scooter piston . Must have sold it when I bought the MB50. Or maybe the RD50. Sheesh.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

I ran one as a commuter for a couple of years, cheap as chips. Got it new when I traded my Mach 3, LOL.

Got married while I still had it. Worked at a printed box co - so the staff had access to glue and plenty of confetti.
If anyone finds one with confetti still stuck under the seat, it's probably my old one....

Nice restoration , My first bike in 1975 when the govt put petrol up from 49c to $1 a imp gallon .
We all thought it was the end of the world . Mine was a bright green one costing $589.
Got over 100 KPH out of it before blew up with a hole in the piston.
    Look after it.
