Looking for difference in inside width between spars on these 2 Yamaha frames. Dimensions would be great, even a definite answer on which one is wider by how much.
Also, which one is longer from swingarm pivot to headstock?

Well a mate has a 3MA frame lying around ready to meet his RZ500 engine one day. Going around on sunday likely, I'll try remember to measure.
Pivot to headstock going to be very open to interpretation.
What engine? 3MA will be roomier I'd think . Another mate has a 3xv could ask him.

I have a 3xv frame, so just the inside width of 3ma would be awesome.
I have RG500 motor. I didn't spend a lot of time yet, but it seems like it won't fit in my 3xv.
I don't know the whole story, but my frame was originally used for a rz500 motor. Some mounts are still there.
Maybe your buddy would want to swap frames? I'm in USA though. We each pay our own shipping?

About 695mm from swingarm pivot centre to bottom headstock bearing. Pretty slap dash measurement for planning only.
215 between spars at bottom Weld which is thinnest for most of span.

232mm wide, and 629 long on 3xv like you measured.
I knew the 3xv wa a little shorter, but didn't expect 3xv to be wider?
