Sorry, my bad, I thought your frame looked nothing like that and was some home built welding exercise.....no factory would send out a frame with welds like that on it, and yeah, it might have won a GP or two, but Steve Ward could probably have won on a standard MT125 trail bike!
Gav, are you in one of your shit stiring moods

The frame is very similer... be it 20yrs old and been down the rd more times that you have eaten a steak pies.... it has been moderfied (butchered) to take the MB bucket motor..... but you know all this dont you

Ps: the MT50 was a trail bike, not to be mistaken for the MTgp bikes
    cheers DD

When Bren and I rode past the port on Thursday there was a transit sign out saying something about a road closure. Shoulda stopped to read it... NSRpaul- want to go and have a read of it? It's on the bypass just before the roundabout if heading in from Rai Valley

MT50? :spudwave: Is that why my post mentions a MT125 trail bike?

Really? Do I know you? I was on the founding committee for the Nelson Road Race Assn, worked on holding the first race at the Port and the road race held at Golden Downs.

I've only raced it the last two years but unless the layout has changed I couldn't see any problems with it, it was certainly no worse than Greymouth or Hokitika

The course change last year cutting out the roundabout was better than the year before though

Did you run the bucket last year?
