I just can't fathom the mindset of people who can deliberately harm ANYTHING - whether it's a cat, a horse or a human - of any age. I don't even like kids, but there is no way in hell I could ever torture one like this, or allow one to be abused. I wonder what would happen if we sterilised everyone who ever harmed an animal or a human? I bet the crime rates would fall in a few years. What annoys me is that these kinds of scum manage to breed like rabbits, whereas decent people who desperately want children and who would give them a wonderful life, often have great trouble getting pregnant.

I think everyone is starting to get a little tired of the same old line "but I was abused as a child" or "but he/she came from an underprivelleged background" - have they not heard of an equally old saying "break the cycle". It's about time they stopped using it as an excuse for their behaviour and started using it as a reason to change their behaviour.

I came across this brilliant idea just the other morning.

You know before the Iraq war there was a ‘Food for oil’ programme?

Well why not keep it going? We send Iraq (Or Afghanistan for that matter) food & in exchange they take our prisoners.

They can then set them up clearing mines or some such, being an asset to the community & earning their keep.

The fucking possible sentences are a fucking joke - 5 and 2 years maximum - and none of our judges have the balls to give out a full sentence. Of course, the arsehole that "co-operated" and confessed will get his sentence reduced even further than the other scumbag's. And what's the bet they'll be given the sentences concurrently - do multiple crimes, serve less than full term for just one of them - it's great to be a filthy scumbag: society bends over backwards to treat you nice.

Fuck, they'll serve less than the dishwater sentences they get - they'll be sentenced to 3 years (2 for the "co-operative one") and get out in 2 (1 and a half) thanks to the Parole Board's "hug-a-thug" policy.

And the slapper will probably get fuck-all if anything.

Meanwhile the poor fucking kid gets a lifetime of "issues" - unless depression claims him when he's old enough to tie a slipknot or weild a razor blade...

Put me on the fucking bench.

I'd give them the maximum sentences - for each instance of the crime. Multiple offences = multiple sentences. At maximum sentence. Each. Consecutively...

The bitch would get the same on the grounds of allowing it to happen - conspiracy to mistreatment and abuse.

Set a fucking precedence they'll never forget - 150 years in prison, eligible for parole in 80.

We have a fucked society - and a fucked judicial system with fucked sentencing and fucked judges to go with it. Our society is fucked because our judicial system is nutless: Prison time means nothing to these arseholes - it's not a punishment or a deterrent to them and rehabilitation is not an option. Let prison serve its only useful purpose - the removal of filth from our society - permanently.

In addition to the rapists, murderers, unrepentant drunk drivers and abusers, I'd put the judges and defense lawyers in prison as well - their constant condoning of this sort of behaviour by handing out weak-kneed sentences or trying to mitigate their scumbag clients' actions puts them on the same level as the filth they sentence/represent.

Under my Benevolent Regime, parole boards would be obsolete (no parole for such crimes) and so all those obliging bastards who let the fucking scum out early to reoffend can go to jail for life as well - they're just as guilty as the offenders.

F5 Dave's suggestion has merit, but can we forget Iraq and Afghanistan and organise the trade with Malaysia?
