Anyone keen to buy a bike which rides itself? (Moved Thread)

I've always thought that riding motorcycles would be a lot more enjoyable if you didn't have to ride them..

In all seriousness, I know that this sort of tech could have great benefit for differently abled people but I really don't like how many things are becoming "automated" these days. I'm still in the camp of thinking that the more parts of driving/riding are automated, the more complacent and careless people become. Same goes for lane detection in cars, blind spot detection which is becoming more and more common on new vehicles, self parking cars, etc etc. What ever happened to just knowing how to park and knowing how to check your blindspot?

Think of the money you can save by not needing safety gear, helmets, luggage etc plus no more testosterone fuelled road rage! What's not to like?

On a day like today, I'd smash its teeny little brain to bits for the chance to go for a ride on MY terms, MY way.

Today is officially the first day of spring here: too warm for the thermal liner in the bike jacket, so out it came.

Too right! I had some new tyres to scrub in so I thought it would be a good idea to go check out the new surfacing on the Mangakukas! Amazing!

My first thought was if super rich and bored to run a figure of 8 demo-derbi with a couple of mates at the controls to smash them to bits in a jousting match. Seeing the video it seems you'd have to hack the software a bit.
