So how does that work? Surely men voted to give this right to women, but we wont see any mention

I'd be quite happy in a matriarchy I think. I know how to keep the bitches happy. If you know what I'm saying, and I think you might.

Exactly, but the woman #metoo brigade would never acknowledge that men do good deeds. Seven Sharp the other night and Hilary what's her name was harping on about how great those women were for GETTING themselves the vote, when Jeremy what's his name remarked but weren't the men also deserving of praise for GIVING woman the vote. She reacted like any other #metoo, with immediate anti-men bias rubbishing his notion that men had a part to play and should be acknowledged. People that rant on about other people being prejudiced often overlook how prejudiced they are themselves.

In saying that, one would probably want to check if the men doing the voting for women actually wanted that, or just thought it would be more likely they won the next election. Because if it's the latter, I don't think this is a high-fives all round moment.

FWIW, there's probably some men back then who do deserve a tip of the hat/jolly good show, old chap for their efforts.

But it was men that gave women the vote... Well more precisely 1 man, who wanted to stop them getting it, but pissed people off to the point where they voted for the womens vote just to spite him.
