Funny fellows they are with spares. Was just reading this morning about a chap fettling an ex Merkel RC30 sending calipers off to brembo factory for refit but being told to buy a new master. Got me thinking about the Slightly book where he was having trouble with the (probably get this the wrong way around but as I remember it) Brembo brake system on the RC45 dragging. They disguised a Nissin master and the problem went away.
So in the shower I was wondering if the issue was the size of the bleed return which could cope under normal circumstances but not when hot? If they are badly adjusted this happens as closed off but they would be onto that. But if when hot things swelled and the brakes would not release quickly enough. Maybe a larger or repositioned return would have fixed it.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
