My wife actually has a Honda Fit RS same as the Jazz, agree its a brilliant car.

CVT on paper is a great transmission, car engine always at the perfect RPM. Most people think they are slow as they expect revs to change with speed but its not the case.
Best CVT I have driven would be a Skyline GT350. That thing took lots of abuse and was fun with the paddles.

I have nothing against em in particular I just prefer a manual car, I am a driver as well as a riders and love chucking a car through some corners almost as much as a bike

I bought my first car in over 30 years. It has a wheel at every corner. The end.

Actually the stereo is pretty good and the turning lights are useful. Wife likes the heated seats. Bikes should do that.

    Hmm. Google

I had one as a rental in UK recently. It was bloody brilliant!
The rental company were sort of apologizing that they only had a manual available "could I drive a manual?"...

I think the little thing gave a sigh of relief when I handed it back.

Story I saw the other day was about a Police pursuit where shots had been fired. Somewhere the journo found a driver that had been driving along in the right lane. He had seen the bad guys zooming up behind him weaving through traffic. The bad guys pulled up behind him going pretty quick tooting the horn and flashing the lights. The driver stayed firmly in lane 3 as the 2 left lanes were free and the bad guys could pass on the left. The passenger bad guy fired a couple of shots from a shotgun out the passenger window. The driver stayed in the right lane even after the shots had been fired and got properly abused as the bad guys eventually passed on the left.

Shots were fired and this driver didn't move left. What are the chances for emergency services or any other person wanting to travel at a decent pace without weaving through traffic?

Every time I drive out to Pukekohe I get stuck behind someone pootling at 75/80ish along 100kph stretches of road. Considered moving out that way once but constantly putting up with people who can’t seem to ever drive at the speed limit (and we’re talking in clear dry weather conditions) would just do my head in. Now that the two passing lanes of old have been reduced to one it’s even worse. Aaargh - if you aren’t capable of driving at the speed limit of 100 when the conditions are good then you should not be on the road!

Actually whilst out on the 675 yesterday when nearing civilisation, the two cars I saw weaving about the place I had to pass on the left, both were texting. On the motorway. Darwin please take them with you but not collect anyone else.
