    Long term Suzuki GSX-S1000 review

A cold, dull day on the Coromandel and can't be arsed to get the bike out. As ownership of the GSX-S1000 has just clicked a tad over 3 years and 45,000 km, I decided instead to review my thoughts and experiences over that time. Naturally, the review is a highly personal one but hopefully, the comments are in context. Hope it provides a modicum of interest, particularly why we choose a particular type or brand or type of bike at any given time in our riding careers.

Very kind thanks Paul. Amazing what you can find to do to avoid domestic chores on a shitty day

Nice write up of a nice bike.
You highlighted perfectly the deeply personal nature of really liking a bike.
No "best" bike as you competently illustrated.
    Cheers.

Thanks Nigel. I see that you have a Street Twin. A Street Cup isn't totally out of court for my next bike as it sort of reflects the cafe racers when I was growing up!
