    Question Kawasaki KR150A CDI what the hell does it look like. And where can i get one?

    I have searched the interwebs long and hard and the only pics that come up are of this CDI

    that obviously does not fit the A model so what does it look like and where can i buy one. also here is a pic of my loom if anyone can tell me where it should be. Cheers.

    have you got a complete bike thats missing the cdi? ive got a mate with at least one kr150 ..he might have some bits too
    is your the watercooled or aircooled model?

    It is a water cooled model. Its pretty much all there it just had all the electrics and wiring missing i got a hold of just about every thing now bar a cdi unit.

    That picture brings back memories. My first bike was that exact model and colour.

    Its been built up from a bunch of bikes so it might be possible there's a bit of your old bike on it.

    ive asked the mate about the cdi, will let you know when i hear back. you gonna make a racebike out of it?

    Looking at the Parts Fiche it looks like the V force reed valve for the KDX200 will fit as it looks like the KR1 intake
    The Griffith boys had a KR150 they built a bucket out of it. not sure if the used the original ignition or not.

    Thanks but There are more than two models and pretty much all have different wiring looms here's an example

    The Color Coding will be the same for the wires though. So you should be able to figure out what does what and if they can be substituted
    A i said ask Matt he lives in the area where they were created he may even be able to help you out with a replacement CDI

    The other thing you may not are considered is there may well be a mini loom that conects what you have as a connector to the CDI.
