Hullo, new here
been riding for about a year - started on the wife's GW250 which we're selling and moved to a '90 en500 (which is now being fixed up) and currently on a 2018 cmx500
any of you have any tips on selling the 250?

Trademe is probably the go to place to sell it.
Clean it up, fix any little problems so that you are presenting it at its best. Change the oil and filter so it is ready to roll for the next owner. New WOF and at least 3 months rego.
Research others of the same for sale so you know a realistic sale price.
And no matter how dumb any questions are on the advert answer in a civil manner.
Pretty much what was said above, clean it up, wof reg and a realistic price.. Be foward about any issues it has and have the bike in a presentable place I.e a clean garage I find this helps.
Remember ... a realistic sale price is not necessarily what every other dreamer is asking for their pride and joy piece of shit ...
When life throws you a curve ... Lean into it ...
Good quality photos are important. A surprising number of people are willing to buy based on photos - I nearly sold my last bike to someone in Invercargill.
Good point. And photos all around the bike of both sides of the bike please. Many adverts feature photos of one side only - which I am suspicious of as there is a chance it was dropped on the non photographed side.
If you really want to know what it is worth start a $1 auction!
i think im askin a decent price - it's a GW250 so it's a workhorse commutter/city bike
new they're around 5k and im askin just under 3 for mine (which has drop damage but only cosmetic)
iunno. time will tell im not in a huuuuuge rush to sell it
