Question Trying to find old TV drama about two bikers

Ok, not sure if this is in the right thread, but it is vaguely bike related.

Does anyone remember a short British TV film / drama about two mates who go on a camping trip on a motorbike?
I'm guessing it was early 70's so was probably on an old Brit bike. Have no idea if it was even aired in NZ. They started off as peace loving hippie types, but after getting hassled for their appearance decide to live up to / down to people's expectations of them, and the film ends with them destroying a fancy flowerbed on their bike - hard hitting stuff I know, but it's driving me mad trying to find it.
I wasn't that old when I watched it in the UK, probably 30/40 years ago, but I remember one scene where the dad gives them his WW2 medals to wear saying he hopes they never have a chance to earn any themselves.

Are there any other old farts out there like me who can remember it, or did I just imagine it in some drunk dream?

I know i'm bound to get loads of sarcastic and abusive replies , but it will be worth it if someone can come up with the title

So what was the movie, Something Bandits where they held up tour buses in the Highlands on a GP125 wearing clown masks. Then met some hard guy. "No one puts the boot in anymore"

    . . . Ok I've answered my own question.

    And it was a CG125. I'm discussed.

No, but that was a classic as well, and a great soundtrack.

This was more of a made for TV one off drama, something more in the vain of a 'Play for Today" etc

Freebird was great but later, I loaned my copy and it never came home.
