    Re todays ride

Wow what a great day, very much like kb rides used to be like,

meet up with Trash, Riff and my saturday ride mate marmoot, quick coffee and away along to drury Old GSR to Bombay, harrisville, tuakau and onto 22, great pace set for this ride, stop at the normal refuel point for gas and a cold drink then back via riverveiw, huntly ,rotowaro hetthrington roads and back to 22...

Thanks Randy, Sue and Jimmy, just like old times, no crap, no bullshit just a nice hard ride, and all set up with less than 10 posts..

Yeah thanks Dave, good to do 22 with you again. I was a tad on the slow side - combination of nerves after my bin in September and a square rear tyre that was trying to kick the back out once I reached a certain lean angle slowed me down a bit. But bloody good to be out on a decent ride again. Hopefully things will improve when I get a new set of tyres.

Probably just as well you didn't venture this way. I got my water line done by 11:30, then got some water from above. Drizzled on and off all afternoon, and Mrs What? said it was fair pissing down in town late morning. Bloody lovely!

yeah it's squared off. Square tyres can be quite unnerving at times. it's either slow down and turn upright, or lean right out past the angle. If you lean right on the angle, it'll wobble a bit.

I see you're not moving your lower body enough, hence the bike is too upright to make the corners. Just my 2c.

Great ride indeed. Looking forward to a 6 warm months of weekly rides like this

Mint day, mint companions. Absolutely loving your work Firefight, you know how to plan a good ride. Managed to fit a couple of wheelies in the day, had a shit load of giggles, especially the fellah in the Korean built 4WD having a nut at Dave about "You young bastards are all the same!" Apparently, he didn't like being told to watch his language in front of his wife.

The young maori boys in Huntly seemed suitably impressed by some fuckwit doing a nice standup down the street for them. Really enjoyed the ride, massively enjoyed the company.

Cheers guys (and chick), it's always a pleasure.
