    xj550 project

Hi guys, just starting this now so it will be slow going hopefully do an update or 2 every week

    but here's how she sits

no particular plans but will become more of a cafe style build

its a early 1980s xj550, bought it for the engine but have decided against a swap into my enfield so going to try and revive it instead.

as it sits i have most things striped , motor is in pieces needing re-assembled and im missing seat fuel tank and afew other bits , which is a great base for a frankenstien build haha

I think I have a stock seat and tank and maybe a few other bits I won't be using on mine

Don't forget Kev's hanging out for a set of forks....

But I have to admit I'm intrigued by the OP's original idea (very original) of putting the 550 in an Enfield....More detail please - incl what happened to the Enfield motor....

Depending on price I'd possible take it all, but really all I need is a rear wheel with sprocket carriers and brakes

That's ok, I have a XJ550 rolling chassis minus factory rear wheel and brakes, someone put a RZ disc brake wheel in it which I don't want
