    fuck me thats expensive from smiths city, too late to help you though probably....

    tbh best option is to buy a refurbished business line machine, think Dell / HP / Lenovo from one of the many tech sellers on trademe OR from PBtech which will offer atleast some form of warranty

    most of the business line machines are designed to last 4 years to cover the usual 3 year warranty/tech lease, so tend to be better built/designed than consumer grade units --- they also tend to be mainline devices which get the shit tested out of them and firmware updates for those 4+ years to keep buisness buyers happy.

    also because they are enterprise machines they will usually have windows 7 upgraded to windows 10 PRO for free and installed.

    trust my advice, i've worked with these machines for 15 years, and over the last 7 deployed over 100,000 of them for government/SoE's

    Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is free, but as of January 14, 2020, Microsoft no longer seems to support this.
