Check a bike in Whanganui for me please ?

I'm looking at buying a Honda ST1100 in Whanganui, 4 hours from me.

Is there someone here who would be interested in taking a look at it for me please ?
I've seen photos and spoken with the seller, really all I need now is someone to ride it and make sure it's not stuffed and inspect the swing arm for corrosion (common problem in this model from UK).

Happy to compensate for your time.

    cheers
    Shane

So that all got a bit out of hand and I now own two Honda ST1100s.

Big thanks to Steve who is riding it from Whanganui to Tauranga for me.

Give me a week or two and I'll have a 1998 Honda ST1100 for sale.
    102,00km on the odo.
    Excellent condition.

Mine appears to be identical to the only ST1100 for sale on TradeMe, except mine is younger (1998 vs 1997) and slightly less mileage.
His is $4250. I'd be happy with $4k even.

Can be viewed in Hamilton, Auckland or Tauranga.

Early expressions of interest are invited.

dunno why honda never made a naked version of one, four valve head, four exhausts out each side, would have looked smashing.

Picked up my new ST1100 in Tauranga and rode it home last night.
Now I know what a squared off tyre feels like. Sketchy doesn't begin to describe it.

Question for the audience, is there anyway of machining this tyre back into round and should I just bin it and buy a new one.

Current tyre is a ContiRoadAttach 2 (where on earth do these names come from)

My other ST has a Pirelli of some sort.
