You mean like husa and his constant 'but National...'? I don't think so.

Trump got in because he was SLIGHTLY less hated than Mrs. C. Had the Dems backed just about anyone else (Bernie for example) they would have steamed in.

In that instance Jason may have a point. Debbie Wasserman-Schwass was the head of the Democrat Party national body at the time, having previously been Clinton's chief of staff. The candidate selection process was biased in favour of Clinton. The usual expression seems to be along the lines, "the scales were tilted in her favour".

Sanders was performing better against Trump in polling than was Clinton, but the voters never got that option.

Odd, i only post in response to someone wrongly attribute blame or credit saying such crap like do we do well economically and thrive and dont mentioned they ran a budget deficient and borrowed money the whole time they were in power.
I post figures to back up what i say. its not an opinion its pure facts. Some people just dodnt like hearing it though.

I never actually said I support Trump (other than voting for him of course). He is light years away from being perfect but anyone was better than that fucking clinton woman.

I'm not sure you can say that - Trump got in because of quirks in the American "democratic" system - in terms of popular vote he was second, but the electoral college system meant he got elected. Having said that, you are absolutely right: he got in and they both knew how that system worked had the opportunity to work it.

I think you're right though - a lot of ppl assumed just because Hilary C was the democratic candidate she would get in. Having said that, I am interested in the outcome of what the russian interference actually was.

no trade wars, no trade embargoes, no threats of war, unemployment and interest rates nearly at an all time low. the economies growing, Sick people have free health care and we are repaying overseas debt .

NZ people are some of the happiest places on earth, they also live in one of the world least corrupt countries.
If the current lot is really doing such a crappy job why is their popularity going up every poll?

I read a piece the other day on why trump and the Republicans are still popular someone said te average lower to middle income group is so close to financial disaster that even the though of a small economic ripple will cause them to go under they are convinced that they have to go along with it, it was interesting reading.
The thing is though the wall street run cant last, and when it does go down dramatically how are they going to blame Obama, Clinton and the Mexicans for that.
