So how come Bautista was just so invincible and then it stopped? Did someone sabotage the bike or something? I know they knobbled the rpm but should that have affected the handling that bad he then crashed so often.
Weirdest season I've ever seen.

Apparently the contract negotiations started earlier in the season when Bautista was still undefeated so his manager had a sky high asking price. That price was seen by Ducati as way too high once the wheels fell off. So they signed Redding.
Still, I'd be surprised if Redding did better than Bautista. Or as well.
