Currently don't own a TV and only have an old radio playing a station that plays old tunes so didn't hear about the Christchurch crime scene until late last night.

My thoughts go out to all those who have become victims or affected in any way by this criminal insanity. R.I.P. to those who lost their lives.

Manifesto... well, if they get you hating your neighbors, then they win. That's why it's so dangerous to promote these things. They'll get followers. Not everyone can think straight.

Stopping the next angry young man... making sure that the dead aren't faceless, that there's a name, that it's a person and a life, then it'll quietly dampen down. Mostly, not always.

Having arguments with extremists won't work, it just entrenches their views further. Dispassionate facts won't work. You've got to go for emotion, the simple visceral gut feeling that doing this sort of violent hate is just flat out wrong.
