    Molesworh, Nevis, Von travel times

I'm a fairly inexperienced adv rider on a CB500X so I'm not going to be caning it but hoping someone can give me a rough idea of the travel times for the trips below

Blenhiem to Hamner Springs via Molesworh

Cromwell to Garston via the Nevis

Mossburn to Mt Nicholas via the Von

    Thanks
    Mac

Blenheim to hanmer, 2.5-5hrs depending on speed and stops. If you haven't been thru there before, you may stop quite a bit to take photos etc.
    Haven't done the other two...

I did the Blenheim to Hanmer via Molesworth last year. With quite a few photo stops we managed it in under 5 hours.

    Agree with the Molesworth estimates.

Nevis is just a lot of water crossings, most of them pretty easy through summer at least, rest is easy enough even on a postie if ridden sensibly.

time about 2.5-5hrs. depending on stops and photos

Von Rd. is straightforward , 3 or 4 easy creek crossings, the rest usually fairly quick and easy.
Include Mavora Lakes and it's a 2-5hr. run to/ from Te Anau from either Mt. Nicholas or Walter Reid incl. the lakes and Careys Hut

Yeah, been lucky twice, both times late Feb-late March, methinks. ('13 + '16)

Less crossings but more water in the Clarence Reserve runs...also easier to pick a good line on a bike than with a 4wd.
Going by the reports and RR's on ADV and FB, Feb/ March this year were a breeze, too. Even as late as the Easter weekend.
