Missed this first time round....fast end of touring for me
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Oh ok then.......

So far I've counted 52 votes out of the 60 max amount of riders allowed. Looks like it's gonna be a mint day

Start me off in slow and jump me up if I'm going too fast for that group. At the end of the day I'm probably medium, but definitely not fast based on other track days I've been on. There usually fair jump between "Fast" and "Racing" as well on other Track days. Something you might consider.

No,if you're a reasonobly competent road rider then the novice group will be too slow,it's more for newbies with not to much riding time.

Yep,I'm pretty quick on the road and I went in the fast group last time, but prolly woulda been better off in the medium group,at least for a few rounds. The biggest thing with the fast/racing group is you need to be comfortable with guys passing you fairly quickly.

Hrm, you're making me wonder if I should start in the slow group as well (never been on track, but been riding nearly two years).

I think you should be kinda ok in the slow group - to start off with.

From memory I believe the medium group were lapping Taupo in the early/mid fifties.

The fast group were doing it in the 40's.

The slow group was doing it in the late fifties to around a minute or so.

I was doing it in about 3 minutes.:spudbn:

Devil - if your're worried about it do a session or two with the newbies/slow group to get the feel of things and the track, then Im sure you'd be OK in the medium group after a couple of sessions. Its a confidence thing and you're quick enough on the road........so............

Well, the bike should be in the fast group, but as I will have had it for just under 3 weeks at the track day, I'm gonna say medium and hope I don't embarass myself.
