My experience with basket cases that are 90% complete is the rest of the world is hunting for the remaining 10%

I like the restored ones sold for less than the all the receipts total.

T500's are popular at the moment in classic racing, you can spend a fortune on them too.

In a recent classic bike mag I have there is an article on a T500 which was owned and raced by a young B. Sheene. It was restored I think but at great expense....

I seen that one still had his signature engraved.

Mr Steve Roberts used to make the stuff to turn them into TR's. amoungst others.
I have all the port drawings etc somewhere on some Computer.
Probably the best use for a basket case.
The thing i remember about the T500's was the ammount of induction noise they made without the airbox by far louder than the exhaust. even with open chambers.
My father loaned one, to one of my cousins along with a T350. Never to be seen again.

It's all the little stuff that is missing that can quickly ad up in a quick slap it together project.

Yeah of of course because after all what i clearly suggested was it should be a complete full restoration where the op replaces any missing pits rather than loosely assembling the bits so the next mug as an idea what is missing.

A bike in bits scattered in boxes is worth less that a bolted together thing that looks like a bike with missing bits.

    Your party is corrupt.......
Its unlikely that you would be invited to a party let a lone be able to navigate your way to one.
