Another day of wait & see, ending in cancellation due to high winds, poor visibility & a diesel spill all the way through Glen Helen.
Must be a bastard with the poxy weather, but to add a diesel spill !!!! imagine that !
Hey, I've got pics of Hailwood and Read doing the TT in sunshine so it must happen every now and then ?lol.
Someone mentioned the other young fella Daniel Methol,(spelling?). lol
Did he have an off and is he ok ?

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

as opposed to NZ which is a rock stuck in the not quite middle of the Pacific.....

Haha I just reread that sorry didn't pick that up for its literal meaning.

And how the fuck do they get diesel on the track the dopey buggers? Reversing milk floats etc, do the public not understand the gravity of being at least,. . . well, screw it, any time of the year on a road?

No practice again today, same reason.
Was in Northern Ireland two weeks ago & their summer, day on day was colder than our winter back home.
Which is why I and many of my whānau have made our way here.
You do understand the only difference between a Norn Iron winter and summer is that the rain is a wee bit warmer in summer? You don't get a sun tan there, you just go a wee bit rusty.
They filmed Winterfell there for a reason.....

I'd suggest two possibilities. All the HT movements done in the wee sma' hours so as to free up the roads in daylight. And someone driving a diesel doing track recce and having an oopsie. From what I read, wiping a sump off on high speed bumps with the big bikes isn't unknown now either. More for the marshals to watch for...

It's been written up on one of the manx websites as "not serious" injury. He may have his own opinion of course.

Had a brief catch up with Dan a couple of nights ago at the paddock.
He's getting around on sticks & said he could be riding again in a week.
However the bike he was on won't be going far, probably the nearest skip.

It's just a regular busy main route that I doubt the locals even think about being a race course.
I lived on the course opposite Greeba Castle for the Manx TT last year & The truck & agricultural machinery movements are frequent & constant around the Island.

Yes he has. He posted that he's coming out of hospital after an incident, and he should make a full recovery.

The crash was glossed over on the radio.

After another lay day due to weather they finally got a run this afternoon.
Jay has superstock start position 25 at 122.5mph.
It's game on early tomorrow weather permitting, which is looking promising.
