    WTB GS1000 fuel guage

Hi guys, The bimetal strip in my GS1000S fuel gauge has fractured- looking to buy a working fuel gauge- on my model it's in the tacho binnacle.
    Thanks, Kiwimacchi (Adrian)

You might want to talk to Parrots - they specialise in repairing guages, speedos, rev counters etc and may be able to repair it

Thanks, it was them that diagnosed broken bi-metal. Some of the GS850 and GS1100 models have same tach/fuel gauge (with different redlines) so gives me more scope if anyone's got one they would part with. Thanks

The bike wrecker at rangiora (good parts) had an 1100G, I got the seat and battery box and both were very good condition
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
