2004 Suzuki GN250 - Brake Master Cylinder Assembly cracked!

    Hi all,

Came back from a nice ride yesterday to find a significant crack through the cylinder assembly on my GN

I havent had an accident since owning the bike so my guess is a small crack was made with the previous owner that has grown with each and every day ride done since...

Either way, I'm happy it didnt cause me any on-road strife or worse!

Does anyone know where I could get an OEM part for a reasonable price? A little bit tired of looking at the $ value Coleman's puts on their parts...

Am also open to suggestions for an after market or updated brake cylinder assembly that would do the same job?

    Cheers guys & gals!

Yeap, no such luck on TradeMe. Will try 'Action Bike Wreckers' today.

Can you recommend any wreckers who know their stuff? Might try get one off a different Suzuki model if it fits the bill.

    Cheers!

I generally just email them all asking for what I want, if they don't have it then they don't have it.

But the GN250 is a common enough bike I'm sure someone out there has the part you're looking for.

Thanks very much, ended up finding someone on TradeMe who has imported a few brand new ones. Cheers for your suggestions!

Cant imagine they are different. It will have the bore size cast on it usually 1/2 (inch) for single disc arrangement.
Don't you look at my accountant.

All sorted in fact! Was an old-new OEM part from Suzuki AUS. Fitted in 5 mins, working with no issues since
