Older KTM/Husaberg RFS motor vs newer generation?

My mans, what's the differences between the older RFS motors compared to the later iterations?

More importantly in regards to reliability.

Kind of got my eye on that Husaberg 550 supermoto on TradeMe but a little weary (possibly unjustified) of the older RFS engines. In saying that, he has 14000kms on it which may be testament to its solidity.

If you buy a Ktm ktm Husaberg at least you will know the parts will be around later.
A lot of the parts for the earlier Husabergs are drying up now.
