some do, into the gravel at the edge and make a real mess of things.
i'm still figuring how the car in the first post knew he was behind, the rider must have doing something pretty special to get his attention, or have a wankers exhaust or something.

Exactly, slow drivers normally never look behind them.

I'm sure it was deliberate as no idea why anyone would swerve on to the wrong side of a straight road. He then moved back to the left before the corner and didn't cut it at all.

Very weird, and a bit scary.

Just a thought, but could the driver have just been going where he was looking?, though there are definitely a few nut jobs out there they are few and far between, if he was watching you in his right side mirror its possible he drifted that way and jerked it back when he realised.
I have seen this alot and even use it on occasion, by travelling in the left wheel track they then use the left mirror to see you and drift slightly left opening up room on the right to pass.

Texting seems to be the common reason for swerving/ drifting on straights from my observations

I know that intersection well. That was pretty poor riding on display there.

Had to watch it twice, I didn't realize there were 2 people on the bike.
