    Private Parking - Towed. Contestable?

Been towed in a private parking building by a right wanker who said the reason was I was taking up the end of his space near a wall.

Looked at the law around the legality of towing/ticketing. You must be causing a real impact or obstruction?

Anyone contested on the grounds the bike isn't blocking or impacting on normal usage of the spot? Spot is over 6m long.. plenty of space yet towed without any notification

Hmm. I assume you are allowed to park in this private parking building?

Why is the owner a wanker? It's his property and it sounds like you were trespassing. That makes you the wanker and a freeloader.
If I owned private parking and you parked on it without permission I'd have you towed quick smart.
Stop being a tight arse and pay your own way.
    Lets go Brandon

Does anyone ever give notification that they are going to tow your vehicle? I didn't think so... One just returns to one's parking spot to find their vehicle gone, then has to work out where the fuck it's gone to.

Just call the cops and report it stolen. Get a crime reference number from them and make an insurance claim.

yip, all their staff are trained in the art of sending smoke signals, that's one reason they are all vapers.

That wouldn't work. They know when things have been towed.
