    Go Pro

Hi I want to put a camera on my bike to record my rides more for safety and insurance than anything. The Go pro I have came with these adhesive 3B things to attach the camera to things. I don't know if i fully trust it to stay on my helmet as i drive. Has anyone used them before or have any advice for me?
    Cheers

As long as the surface is clean they'll hold perfectly fine, people use the same 3M pads on their GoPro's at the track with no issue.

I tie a little safety link using thin braid to a lot of thing I attach my GoPro to.

As above, they stick like shit to a blanket but I use a wee lanyard, too. Just in case and all that.

I'm assuming 3M? 3B might not be as good..

Pretty sure there is no end of more suitable cameras for this than a gopro. Don't get me wrong, gopros are good cameras, but you don't need to spend that much money for what amounts to a surveillance cam...

As has been mentioned those 3M pads stick like shit to a blanket but like the others I use a backup safety; I've got some fishing line attached to mine as backup

Don't stick it your helmet. There's an ex F1 world champion who made that mistake....Stick it to the bike.

Amen. I have a guy who records rides, just so he can show me people driving badly. I see enough of them myself, I don't need to see other peoples experiences.

Funny, when people show you 15 seconds of other people behaving badly, they don't want you to see the rest of the file with them behaving badly.
