Question HELP - What is this model of Yamaha Bike Please?

I saw this Yamaha bike while on holiday in Bali.

Can someone tell me what model it is so I can investigate if available in NZ?

    Thanks in advance.

Well I'll stick my neck out and say it is a custom build and not a bike that Yamaha build even if it is built around a Yamaha of some sort.

The photo was taken in Malaysia or Thailand. Custom builds are not permitted. Probably made under license in Thailand for the local market. The "Road Tax" system is based on engine capacity, the bigger the engine the more you pay. If you think the NZ registration/ACC costs are extreme ... over there it's worse.

    Hi

That is a heavily modified Yamaha Byson 150cc. I lived in Bali for three years and had a standard one. This one have standard wheels, fork and rear swingarm but has been converted to twin shock. It is very common in Bali to see very modified bikes. So many of the cool ones you have seen there are custom build.

    Thanks

I googled Yamaha Byson 150cc and my pic looks nothing like it so I see what you mean about it being heavily customised... bugger there goes the idea of just buying one of these as a toy to blat round on
