    2.15 or 2.5x17 inch rim

Looking for one 2.5x17 36 spoke alloy or 2.15x17 Rim (or complete wheel)

Wanted to store in garage for never ending never finished project (Bet you to it Dave)
Plus a set of 350 LC cylinders and head.
Which is the whole of the major part shopping list other than the TZA/B petrol tank and seat.

Kickaha is is also looking for a 2.15x18 40 spoke rim

Airtech in the USA if Eurodave doesn't have them or there could be someone in Oz

When i built Peter Pastars Villiers Starmaker, the tank came off a mould of Daves which is allegedly off a Steve Roberts Suzuki.
With about 1 1/2inch taken off the height it's a dead ringer for an early TZ 250/350
i made a pattern for the base from which dave did the mould.

The only ones i seen were ones with the oil tank built-in. rounded hump like a honda on a few of his, tr250 designs i guess
i was thinking it might be easier to just do one or get your friend to do one, i can easily make the bucks. as long as they are not "mega bucks"
edit sorry i thought you were meaning the seat. that tank if wide enough is close enough. i would just fuck an alloy one.
Ps i quoted you on the ESE thread

ps whats the rear brake on that?

out of interest what is the proper way to fix the pitting in the frame braze fill or silver solder
(replace tje stupid RD frame and use the good one I have that I don't want to wreck)
i was going to use the newer 400 coffin tank-style frame as its an orphan as it has the rubber mounts and the engine further forward even if it not as TZ looking with the kinked rear loop. but it has some pitting in the lower loop.

this is the general idea expected finish date is 2045

    That's pretty fucking optimistic

I thought you would like that. By traveling at snail pace it fits that cheap rego now though.
I was thinking of using a Gn front hub as a rear-wheel in your honor.
the tank and seat are the last hard to find bits the rest is just money throwing for easy to source stuff
I have even semi-sorted the workshop after 13 years. i now have decent workspaces and storage.
I now just need to get some more elbow room when my sons C33 Laurel RB30DET and cefiro move least sideways to his side
i can't get much past them atm.

Rear hub is Benelli 650. Lighter than it looks.

Tank widths are very close to TR/TZ. Just use bog on the frame pits. Doing anything with heat risks distortion.

i got a radiator the other day from a RDLC it's a but smaller than i thought it would be ,but still bigger the a RZ is.
The important thing is it has that TZ look. esp the side plates.

Still looking for a late oil tank and side cover.
    Ktm65 shock (20001 ish)
    TZ seat and tank.
    VF750f or cbx750 guard

Got a pretty swanky swingarm of Greg that goes in the pile.

Dud to covid and the labour party expected completion time is now 2046
