Okay I missed that one. Lynda used to be a regular on here, but we don't hear from her these days.

I rarely post as I actually don't think that I have many insights to offer! I visit once a week and certainly have noticed is to be quieter and less of the good banter.

Where has that 20 yrs gone ? all of a sudden I'm bloody 70 yrs old !

But yes , the bike world has changed so much.At least we have the memories huh .

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

I kept seeing Lynda for lunch up until about 5 or 8 years ago and after that she dropped out and I've only run into her occasionally at the shops since.

When you say ears on the helmet did you mean the Devil's horns and tail she had? This was a 2004 photo. I note she hasn't posted anything on here since 2006.

Gaz know how you feel about age too, I became a real pensioner this month, even though I quit work almost 3 years ago.

Times have changed since 2004. That photo I took of Lynda was from this ride set and when you look through the pics there Jim2 had managed to organise a ride that ran in 3 groups to suit a range of levels of experience and the day all went well and is the KB I remember. Such a funny reminder too I was loading photos up back in the 56k modem days before we got broadband so I must have been dedicated eh:

No as the BMW did the 300 km loop on one tank. could have been the club chairman who got lost as Paeroa was not on the route. I’ve got 3 bikes on Vintage $50 a year rego.

Thanks to Facebook our group is riding down to the South Island on Friday for a four day gravel rash session, calling into the Magpie at Winchester if in we are in the area. Be free KBers to stay home this weekend and discuss USA and local politics with Jasonu, and ol worn out pussy with Sidecar Bob.
I'm sure you will be more motorcycle fulfilled than me.

Geez, just got back from 5 full days 2600km SI goodness and full breakfasts. Slept well last night. Time to go on dry out. Bike needs a deep cleanse and 2 indicators. Watch the tie down points on erm one where you park at far end wall. Did ome there and the other went out in sympathy.

Rode to Picton on Tuesday, ferry to Welly. Road back yesterday.

Notably not many bikes on the road, and only mine on the Bluebridge in both directions.

    No police at all. Nil.

    Just sayin.

We saw a few, not including the token one we took with us for luck.
Actually a few in far out reaches. One on a long straight was parked in a bright blue car in plain sight which I thought was most decent of him.
