    2002 R1 indicators

Hey guys, long time lurker but first time poster here.

I own a 2002 R1 (5PW) and I've been having some trouble with my indicators.
It has LED indicators but roughly only 1/3 of the LED bulbs in each indicator are lighting up.

So far I have replaced the relay, checked any fuse I can find and checked the earth connection but still nothing.
I have bought a new set and I am waiting for them to arrive but I am doubting that'll help fix my issue.
Does anyone have any advice on what I can try?

    Thanks for your time.

Were the LED indicators fitted before (or after) it left the factory .. ???

Do you mean that some of the LED chips in each bulb aren’t working? Cos that’ll be the bulb for sure

I am so far from being electronically inclined that I don't really know how to explain it, except that all of the bulbs aren't lighting up. On all of the indicators.
I feel like it's likely a loose or corroded connection somewhere?

These look to be aftermarket indicators on both the front and rear.

Check first if it's actually legal (for WOF) to use LED indicators on it.

But ... Connect one light up to another vehicle (a trailer even) and see if you get the same result. Even direct to the bike battery.

AFAIK there are no WoF rules for LED indicators (excepting colour and position), only headlight rules changed.
